Around this time every year, people all over the world take stock of their lives from the current year. Most wonder if they have moved ahead of where they were at the same time the previous year. Perhaps they looked to lose some weight. Maybe they wanted to increase their grade point average at school. Or they possibly set a goal to start a business. Whatever the goal is, statistics show that only a little more than 9% of those who set those new goals, or resolutions, actually achieve them. Does that small number amaze you? It does me. Walking in Your God-Given Gifts

Believe it or not, everyone of us have been given gifts from God. Since Christmas is coming up, here’s a good analogy to use. You know, when we give and receive gifts to and from family or friends, they’re more often than not, given to use. One of our goals at Lighthouse, in addition to learning the basics of education, is to see every one of our students discover and develop the gifts God has given them and to begin to walk in those gifts.
